Senior Business Analyst Salesforce CRM

Location: New York, New York (Hybrid - 4 days onsite)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Business Analyst with 8+ years of expertise to lead requirement gathering, process optimization, and data management for our Salesforce CRM platform. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of sales cycles, pipelines, and funnels, combined with robust data analytics capabilities. You will work independently to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Partner directly with business users and leadership to translate sales workflows and business needs into functional Salesforce CRM requirements.
2. Manage, maintain, and analyze CRM data integrity to support sales funnels, pipeline tracking, and operational efficiency.
3. Write complex SQL queries and build advanced Excel models (including VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, and VBA Macros) to analyze performance metrics and operational trends.
4. Leverage Python for data analytics, data hygiene, and automated reporting workflows where applicable.
5. Serve as the primary liaison between business units and system developers, ensuring seamless delivery of system enhancements and fixes.

Qualifications

1. Overall 15+ year of experience.
2. Verifiable Trailblazer Profile
3. Experience: 10 years of dedicated Business Analyst experience focused on Salesforce CRM implementations and enhancements.
4. Domain Knowledge: Proven background in managing CRM data; experience within a financial services firm is strongly preferred.
5. Sales Knowledge: Solid practical understanding of core sales processes, including sales cycles, pipeline stages, and funnel management.
6. Data & Technical Skills:
7. Advanced SQL skills for querying, data manipulation, and extraction.
8. Expert-level Excel skills (VBA Macros, Lookups, Pivot Tables).
9. Hands-on exposure to Python for data analytics and automation is a strong plus.
10. Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of working independently alongside end-users and business stakeholders.
