Epic Systems Analyst – Hospital Billing, Claims & Reimbursement Contract Administration100% Remote*Contract-to-HireEpic Systems Analyst – Hospital Billing, Claims & Reimbursement Contract AdministrationWe are seeking an Epic Systems Analyst to support and optimize key revenue cycle applications and workflows. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert for Epic Hospital Billing, claims management, and reimbursement-related processes, helping ensure accurate billing, efficient claims adjudication, contract compliance, and optimal reimbursement outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Epic analyst who enjoys combining application support, workflow optimization, revenue cycle operations, reimbursement analysis, and project leadership.What You'll Be DoingPartner with Revenue Cycle, Patient Financial Services, Managed Care, and operational leadership teams to design and optimize Epic workflows.Support Epic Hospital Billing (HB) application build, testing, implementation, and ongoing optimization.Analyze and improve billing, claims management, reimbursement, and denial management workflows.Collaborate with reimbursement and contract administration teams to support contract configuration, reimbursement validation, and payment accuracy initiatives.Evaluate reimbursement trends and identify opportunities to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.Participate in system upgrades, optimization efforts, and strategic revenue cycle projects.Gather requirements and translate business needs into Epic system enhancements and configuration changes.Develop and execute testing plans for new builds, upgrades, interfaces, and workflow improvements.Support application incidents, service requests, and root-cause analysis activities while meeting established service-level agreements.Work with reporting and analytics teams to develop operational, reimbursement, and claims-related reporting solutions.Mentor junior analysts and contribute to documentation, standards, and process improvement initiatives.Preferred Technical ExperienceEpic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB)Claims management and billing workflowsRevenue cycle optimizationEpic build and configurationWork queues, charge review, claim edits, and reimbursement processesReporting tools such as Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer, Clarity, and CaboodleHL7 and healthcare system integrationsSDLC, change management, and ITIL methodologiesWorkflow analysis and business process improvementIdeal Background5+ years of healthcare IT systems analysis experienceExperience supporting Epic Hospital Billing and Revenue Cycle operationsStrong understanding of payer reimbursement methodologies and managed care contract workflowsExperience supporting claims processing, payment reconciliation, contract compliance, and reimbursement optimization effortsStrong requirements gathering, workflow design, testing, and troubleshooting skillsProven ability to collaborate with business, financial, and technical stakeholdersEpic certification or proficiency in Hospital Billing (HB) or other Revenue Cycle applications strongly preferredExperience working with reimbursement, managed care, contract administration, or revenue integrity teams is a significant plusWhat Makes This Opportunity AttractiveOpportunity to support enterprise-wide Revenue Cycle and reimbursement initiativesHigh visibility with Revenue Cycle, Finance, Managed Care, and Operational leadershipStrategic role focused on improving financial performance and reimbursement outcomesBlend of Epic build, workflow optimization, claims management, and reimbursement analysisExposure to contract administration and payer reimbursement processesOpportunity to influence key financial and operational decisions across the organizationStrong potential for professional growth and leadership exposureIf you are an experienced Epic Certified Analyst and ready to support revenue cycle optimization at a nationally-recognized healthcare system, we encourage you to apply today! *This is a remote position; however, candidates residing in Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Washington, Washington D.C., and U.S. Territories are not eligible for employment in this role.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
